Just want a part

I just need a pigtail replaced. I've called 10 times in last 4 days and not a call back. Sales boss Ted says he never heard of an RJ50 cable in 20 years with company. Tech says it is the cable I need, and I have it in my hand. 8 hours later in this day and still no call on it. Crazy. And here a couple of years ago they sold this lady a 50 foot patch cable for like $200, got it from Singapore, transhipped from Vancouver and charged her close to $700. Called me to install it; of course, it was way to short. So she was sending it back - to Canada - with shipping, and ordering a 100 footer for over $700 when I caught her and built the cable,running it properly through walls and boxes with fittings for a cost of about $20. But I can't build that RJ50 without a 10x10 cable and an end.

This company is going straight down the gutter!

It does not matter how much of a dedicated and loyal employee you are, this company will do whatever it can to work with as few employees as possible. For example, as of this last week 5 or more of us were laid off permanently for no apparent reason. Ultimately what this means is that one person will be doing the job of many which is something Squirrel Systems loves to do to its employees. I can understand if there was an overflow of employees but that has never been the case at Squirrel Systems especially this past year. Employees will get overworked and drained and Bob( President ) will benefit but in the long run they will create very unhappy employees who will sooner or later find a better career one where there is growth and transparency. Some of us have been with the company for over 15 years! Was this really necessary? You begin to ask yourself how much job security is really in this company? Very little! The only department that has job security is the solution center, but lets be honest they are already working with just a handful of people. There used to be a time when I would walk up to the solution center and all the desks used to be full, that is not the case anymore! More and more customers are leaving squirrel as they are not able to deliver the level of customer service support that is necessary in order to satisfy their customers. Customers like efficiency. However, as many solution center agents have told me that is just not something that is possible with them having to work on 3 or 4 things at once. I work at squirrel systems and I absolutely refuse to deal with this company anymore. They have the most incompetent employees employed at their locations. They are not able to do the simplest tasks you ask them to do and they are so rude!

They call in all the time looking for support and the managers don't have the slightest clue on how to function a Squirrel POS system... How the *** do you expect to serve your customers. Most staff members here at squirrel do NOT have the training to help your employees so you need to start training your st*p*d employees better. The technology squirrel has used to design your system is horrible so the agents at the call center can only help you so much.

✖✖✖ BOTTOM LINE : You people need to STOP calling us at Squirrel so much because we hate dealing with you people ,and we hate dealing with your system because it is all customized and it makes our lives ***! So please ....STOP calling us. I REALLY HOPE THE MANAGERS OF GIORDANO'S PIZZERIA SEE THIS .

I have made many attempts in the office to voice my opinion and make my opinion count however it has gone unnoticed and I have been left no choice but to go public.

In order to make the solution centre ( 1 80* *** **** ) content we have a few amendments we would like to make to our procedures, policies and hierarchy at Squirrel Systems.

1) fire madelaine Hollis and hire a new HR geberalist.

2) provide incentive for senior staff to stay at squirrel systems otherwise we will all be leaving in the next few months and you will be left with all new employees.

3)provide a Sufficient. Training

I hate #Giordano's pizza they are the worst. I don't know how bad the pizza is if its prepared by these idiots!

Madelaine Hollis below from #squirrelsystems is attempting to push this all under the rug by saying it will get addressed, but how is that possible? Our company doesn't have enough money to spend on training the staff on Giordano's customized software. All that will get done is an email will be sent to employees to refrain from divulging company information on a public website... Squirrel systems of course does not want the public to see their financial crisis they are undergoing nor do they want their clients to know that squirrel systems has laid off half of their , which in the end means customers have to hold for a longer time when they call squirrel for help.

If you want my advice : Go to Micros or Vivonet they have a way better Pos system than the one at squirrel systems and they are more financial stable to be able to properly train the staff.

If you hold customers in such high regards why is there a posting degrading a customer of squirrel systems? This is absolutely sick madelaine.

At the bottom of the posting it asks "how many people experienced the same issue" and SIX employees said they had the same issue. This is despicable! How are you going to resolve the issue madelaine ? My managers deserve more respect then what is being given to them and this posting pushes me over the ledge.

This is an internal posting as no one else would know there is customized software etc at our locations. Please take appropriate steps to ensure this does not happen again.

Fyi to all customers: Recently #squirrelsystems fired all of their senior staff members working in technical support. Including Andy gill, Brock, Sean Davis they are all fired.

Now Squirrel Systems has a bunch of newbies that dont know anything! Good job squirrel systems!this has got to be one of the most f'd up companies I know. This is all thanks to Adam Willson who is a complete devil and cannot be trusted he will do whatever he can to get to the top. Worst company to work for hands down.

you could be at McDonalds and you would get treated better. this place is known for it's worst working environment, everyone hate it. MARK GOETZ one of the supervisors in the call centr and he is a complete turd. He talks down about other supervisors like will lavery during the evening shift and when I say talk down I mean gossip and talks *** about him and he does not know how supervise whatsoever. he had multiple complaints and ppl even left because of his supervising style but yet squirrel doesn't fire him. squirrel seems to fire all the good employees like Sheldon and others but yet they keep this *** around. squirrel do us a favor and get rid of this ***? Bob you listening? Marin Investment needs to reassess their investment because these idiots will burn this place to the ground!

Jesus Murphy! Can the manager in the call centre control your god *** staff?

all I hear is whining and moaning- not the moaning you hear in bed! Here's the good news for everyone:

As an executive from head office I have decided to hire the legend......(wait for it)...........ary Peter H back in the solution centre! He was among the highest performing staff members at the time of his release from Squirrel. We are aware we are currently understaffed and we cannot train new employees fast enough to provide immediate relief to the current emergency conditions in our call centre.

We are aware that in the last 5months we have lost 6 employees and more are going and that is why we have hired Peter back to his favorite job. Call centre agents - I bet he will be tripling all of your stats including calls taken, calls closed, first call resolutions, absenteeism will be lowest, and he will increase our customer satisfaction (since customers love talking to him as he flirts on the line) and maybe just then maybe we will start rolling in more business and hopefully retaining some as well, which would be a good change from the direction it is currently going.

I hope you all provide Peter H with a warm welcome and he loves hugs ( from the ladies )when he arrives Friday for his shift .

All the Best Team lets stick together because we are stronger together than we are alone.

The system is filled with operating issues that require ongoing technical support. No surprise that the IT department is troubleshooting the issues, they have to take your system down which of course totally disrupts your business and prints you from performing any system work. In today's world there are so many more options so you would think that Squirrel would put effort in ensuring there system is reliable. I would not encourage anyone to spend money on the implementation of this system. Do you self a favor and get a real POS. This one will on frustrate you and your customers.

That statement below is almost accurate. There are NOT some agents that take their job seriously but there are a couple, if any.

The chances of a customer getting a competent agent on the phone and an agent who takes their job seriously is approximately 0.5%.

㊗ Explanation: There are approximately 20 support agents and only two (2/20) of them take their job seriously.

However the chances of them being on a call while you call in are 1/20. 0.05*0.10=0.005 *100%=0.5%

First off any decent restaurant has a spare printer, if you are too cheap to have a spare you are incompetent to even own a restaurant, People cannot fix you're printer over the phone especially when most restaurants kitchen are filthy and that include printers and ends, Don't blame a company that cant fix your printer remotely, you have to PAY, that's right, PAY someone to come and fix it, which most owners want everything for free.

Second, if you got fired because you had to leave work we all know that is not the only reason, Im sure between you being being late and lazy may have had something to do with it. Grow up.

First of all I do not know what Squirrel System is until. One day I received a billing statement from them saying that I owe them $1700. I Google it on the website and found out that they are a POS system company. I called the 1800 number and told them that is a mistake, we do not use them for POS. We have a in house computer scientist who customized our POS program. The person who answer the phone keep insisting that the bill is due and threaten me that they are sending me to collection. She would not listen a word that I say. I left my cell phone number with them and ask them to have someone how handles this account to give me a call. Instead, someone from Squirrel called my restaurant and harassing us that we owe them money. This company is a SCAM!!

I know who in technical support is posting the comments below... The name starts with an A ( or an I).

This man has gone to madelaine Hollis on several occasions and swore it was not him who posted this. He in fact got very angry and showed his anger by getting very defensive and strongly suggesting he would never post anything about Beth. The culprit is none other then

Andy (Inderjit). It makes me sick to think I have to go to work everyday and sit in the same room as this lowlife.

Work is supposed to be about supporting one another but instead there's nothing but built up animosity and gossip talk that circles around the room. When will this change ? Does anyone have an answer? Im sick of the *** so it's time to rage.

Grow up people. Why stress someone out who is expecting a child? That's sick Andy! You should know better!

Uughh I'm so angry thinking about this. I'm done ! Ive had it!!!!

Management will never change at Squirrel. The people in power have weaseled, tricked, lied to, and deceived everyone else to get into the positions that they are in presently, and they have a death grip on these positions.

The problems, according to them, are with the agents who are viewed as disposable, and easily replaceable. If you have a problem with Squirrel, you need to get over it or find a new job, because the management has heard it all and they're sick of listening to you whine about the same things, when nothing is going to change.

Squirrel Systems - Pos System Review

The solution centre is atrocious! As a restaurant manager I have high expectations for my POS system so I am able to deliver efficiently to my customers. However, Squirrel Systems POS system has been below average in delivering results and meeting our restaurants expectations. Not to mention I have been system down nonstop, almost on a weekly basis! Next, every time I have had issues with my POS system I call Squirrel and their call prompts are way out of line! They do not make it easy to call for help! Next you have to wait an average of 15minutes before reaching an agent. Then when you finally get an agent on the phone half of the time they have have no,clue what is going on and they waste countless minutes! The agents are not polite as another reviewer mentioned, the only pleasant agent I have spoken to is Kevin. Kevin was delightful to speak with and he was able to get my issue resolved the last time I called. Its about time this company makes some changes to their pos system to stop the malware failures and also they need to train their staff to be more courteous on the phones with the customers. -store manager

POS stands for piece of ***. I had a complaint so I brought it up to my supervisor who said they would talk to damien but he never did so when I went to damien he said he would do something about it but he never did and then lied to me about it. when I tried to do something about it myself I got fired for bullying. what a piece of *** company. some of the people I worked with are very nice people but the supervisors, and directors all need to be fired and replaced. no raises or benefits increase in the 2 years I was there except for a *** 37$ cola raise. Keep your pittence and buy bob another hamburger. he sure works hard for it.......lol just kidding

A place you go if you want to kill your career.

Pros: If I had to make a list of the best reasons to work for squirrel, I would sum it up with two words, THE PEOPLE! If you look past the nightmare known as management, the company is full of great, hard working people. However, even the people aren't enough to help you get through your days here. Cons: Firstly, this companies CEO is absolutely clueless on how to run a business. He's lucky he's got great people working for him otherwise he would have taken this company to *** years ago. I mean the only thing this guy does when he actually decides to show up is run around degrading people and drawing (and I mean literally drawing) on their families pictures once he's fired them. Right I forgot to mention that, on average, for every week that's passed this year, someone has been canned. Signs of a great company eh. I mean you would have a more effective CEO if you dressed a manikin up in pink shorts and paraded him around the office. At least this way you'd save yourself a quarter of a million. Also, this company does NOT have an HR department. They attempted to have an HR department but soon realized that slaves are not meant to have an opinion and within a quick 6 months the HR was canned. The reasons why the HR was "let go" involve some serious stuff so I'm not going to get into that. All I can say is the management has done a *** of a job trying to cover up a serious criminal offence. Hands down this company has to be one of the most ethically and morally challenged companies in North America! If you seriously want to work here I suggest you keep a bottle of jack in your desk! My advice for management is to give your heads a shake and learn how to treat your employees. These people are more than just assets that you can treat like *** They have a say and I predict more will voice their opinions. And when I say treat them better I don't mean serving *** burgers once a month.

. The poster was someone in the executive side who was fired/unhappy and the company did not provide enough benefits and value . Its important for companies to respect its employees . Squirrel has technology that is needed by many restaurants and i see this company developing and expanding in the near future but without faithful and loyal employees it could fall apart. My recommendation: to show everyone appreciation gor their hardwork and toshow this company cares for its employees give everyone an extra sick.day, increase wages by a dollar, do more company wide funded events to bring everyone together.

i get told your being fired at squirel by the boss after i have to go home because my kid hurt himself and had to be rushed to the hospital. I cant believe a company would fire you for something so ridiculous.

Customers actally enjoyed talking to me and many sites use to call in asking for me just goes to show what u lost.

i got into a heated arguement with a supervisor Mark goetz one day during my 2-10 shift and the next thing u know he comes around and pulls my headset right off my head! i complained to HR and nothing got done. i got told by gio "we will monitor and take disaplinary action if this happens again".

half the solution center hates Mark . everyone knows hes got some major problems. hes all show in front of Adam but at night he gets all pissy. many other people have complained against him like Kevin Scholar, Dylan, jake,gui, myself, and many other agents but he still isnt fired not even after ripping my headset off my head!

this looks bad on the company for not dealing with this problem.

im done here theres better places to work for me and trust me its not hard for me to find a contract with a good paying job better then what i made at squirrel, i douet this company would stay in business longer then a couple of years there sales have probubly dropped. done with this rant

I noticed no less than 35 spelling and grammar mistakes in this posting. For a person on a computer not to use a spell check shows the lack of education you have and the lack of comprehension in what you wrote.

To make such accusations against someone online is normal for someone who doesn't understand the laws in Canada or BC regarding defamation of character that is libelous and slanderous. Not only that but you may have breached privacy laws as well human rights code regarding this personal attack.

Squirrel system call centre rep

Typeuld begin to describe squirrel systems as a great company. But after my new supervisor quit last month I will most likely find a new pos company. She called in for help with a pos issue and spoke with Kscholar. She does not have a first name as she said it did not appear on the screen. Kscholar told my employee to hold and probably thought he had her on hold and called her a *** *** and made various other comments as he continued his conversation in the background. My employees do not deserve to be insulted on the phone when they call in for help. I have to rehire and train a new manager now. The costs associated with this damage you have done will not be paid by you but me. Hire professional staff if you want customers to stay

Current employee This company has a great structure for providing support to there customers. No doubt there!
